2022 Schedule Changes

August 25, 2022

Exciting news to report. We will be repaving the track in October. That will require a slight change to the schedule, as outlined below:

8/26-8/28 Cheesehead Challenge

9/3-9/5 Closed for Labor Day

9/11 Points Race 12 (Qualifying) and Memorial Race

9/17 Dairyland 8 Enduro

9/18 Points Race 13 (Heats) *NEW*

9/25 Points Race 14 (Qualifying) and Cleanup Day

9/26 Closed for Season

The concrete contractor will remove the curbing the week of 9/26, and the paving contractor will begin work the week of 10/3. 9/25 will be a qualifying day without extra laps so we can move the crash bags into the pits and move the barriers for the contractors to complete their work. Flatbed trailers and 4WD trucks to move bags and pull the barrier "trains" are appreciated. With enough help, we can be done in 60-90 minutes after races are done.

This weekend's Cheesehead Challenge will feature the National Track on Saturday and the Classic Track on Sunday. Sunday 8/28 will be your final opportunity to race BKC's track on the current surface with the original Classic layout. The Cheesehead Challenge remains our biggest fundraiser for track improvements, and just because we're repaving the track doesn't mean we're done with improving our facility. We hope to see you this weekend and the rest of the season. Please don't hesitate to contact any BOD member or officer with questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued support of Badger Kart Club.
